Dinner Made Easy

As many of you know, I frequent "Let's Dish" as a way to expedite our dinner process. Hunter decided that he wanted to go with me to help. I was amazed at how much of help he was! He jumped right in and helped make half of the 16 dinners we were to prepare. And of course, the women loved him and I think that helped him trudge through the 2 hours of meal preparation. Ever since Hunter was about 3 years old, he has said he wants to be a "Cooker" when he grows up and this experience seemed to spark that interest again. If I could only get him to think that cooking dinner every night was a treat and get him to not ask, "How much do I get paid for this?".

Medieval Times

We bought Hunter tickets to Medieval Times for Christmas...that's Christmas 2005! It's taken us over a year to coordinate the trip, but we finally did it. To me...it was like a poorly produced, middle ages soap opera; Charlie like the food better than the show; Hunter thought it was great...but needed more realistic fighting and blood (typical 9 year old). Also, Hunter needed to point out to me that "it's kinda lame that the swords wobble". But all in all, it was a fun night out.

Oh, and if you decide to go to Medieval Times and you have ANY allergies...use caution! It sent me into an asthma attack. Horses, dust, and the front row don't mix well.
